Students Occupy U.C.L.A. and Berkeley Buildings to Protest Tuition Hikes
In response to a 32% increase in tuition, students barricaded themselves into several buildings on various California campuses. With futures uncertain and careers no longer foregone conclusions, how will higher education adapt to make their products/services more palatable for the changing economic realities faced by the coming generation? College remains an important part of our intellectual ecosystem, especially in the arts, so what other sort of options do they have other than raising the price?
